>> Step 1. Scan through the calendar of upcoming ceramic tile training and installation certification events.

>> Step 2. Click on the date/event that interests you, and you will have the opportunity to register for that specific class. When you click on the date, more information will appear. 

>> Step 3. Register. To register, click on the orange registration button you will see below, complete the form and you will then be taken to PayPal to complete the transaction. 

 

Please Note:

Anyone entering the tile industry for the first time may seek a scholarship through the Floor Covering Education Foundation (FCEF) for the 100 Level Foundations course, the 200 Level Practical Training course, the Understanding & Installing Ceramic Tile (UICT), and/or the Mortar Shower Base & Waterproofing (MSB) training classes.

If you aren't sure when to register for the Hands-on portion of the Certified Tile Installer program, don't worry!

Register for the CTI Certification Test without DATE or LOCATION (at the top of the calendar), complete the written portion and then contact Cathey McAlister via email to let her know which CTI location you will attend.

 

 

Are You a CTI Ready to Take the Next Steps With Advanced Certifications for Tile Installers (ACT)?

CTEF needs to know where you are and that you are ready to have a test planned in your area.

Register for one of the ACT Tests without DATE or LOCATION (at the top of the calendar), receive your study packet, complete the written portion, and we will seek out hosts to hold the tests you can attend.

If you can host or know a host we could reach out to in your area, please reach out to Cathey McAlister to let her know.

Please note the following items:

  • Effective August 1, 2017, angle grinders and circular saws will not be permitted at the hands-on test site.
  • As of August 1, 2018, cell phones will not be permitted at the hands-on test site.
  • If you have severe nut allergies, please be aware that food served during training and testing events may have been stored with nut-based products. Please don't assume food is nut-free.
